The Client

The Company is a global investment management firm founded in 1989 that manages more than $50 billion in assets. With more than 3,500 employees, the Company has offices in the United States, Europe and Asia, with its principal office in New York City.

The Challenge

Occupying a number of floors at its prestigious Park Ave. address, the Company needed to upgrade all its technology systems to accommodate the increased reliance on sophisticated data systems used in their day to day operations. The entire HQ facility underwent a complete renovation that lasted over 2 years.  TRITECH was selected through an extensive bid and selection process to provide the IT and Security systems.

The TRITECH engineering and project management teams were called on throughout the construction process to provide innovative solutions to the myriad issues that came up through the project. Obstacles like COVID protocols, high end finishes in most spaces, precise coordination with other trades, managing intricate delivery schedules and equipment availability were constant challenges to maintaining budgets and the overall project schedule.

Due to the critical nature of the TRITECH provided systems, The Company and its technology consultants demanded near perfection in the execution, process and documentation of all systems.

The Solutions

Through a rigorous review and testing schedule, TRITECH was able to deliver highly complex and innovative systems that consisted of more than 250,000 feet of cable, including nearly 150,000 feet of fiber.  System hardware included 20 face recognition readers, 530 video cameras, 210 card readers as well as the custom programming required to allow all the disparate manufacturers’ products to work together.  The client and their consultant had very specific requirements regarding the security, reliability and redundancy of all custom programming which TRITECH was able to accommodate.

A Command Center was built to house some of the more than 65 equipment racks, with the rest being spread over more than 20 IDF closets that TRITECH equipped.  All cameras, readers, alarms and notifications are monitored 24/7 in the Command Center. Additionally, long term, secure storage of video and other critical data was provided in an off-premises location.
