The Client

With more than 100 years of history and over 15 offices throughout the US, this Asset Management company focuses on providing their clients seasoned guidance on investments, taxes, business succession, estate planning and more. The company utilizes teams of experts to help clients meet their goals and respond to their needs.

The Challenge

Due to increased staff and workload, the company needed to expand their NYC HQ office.  Recognizing the need to enhance and update their AV systems,  they turned to the AV consulting firm of Shen, Milsom and Wilke to design the new systems that would be needed.  Tritech was selected to build those systems through a competitive bid process.  SMW and the client made it very clear that the expectation was for a very high level of finish and systems that were very user friendly that could operate without technical support.  Two particularly unique spaces were included in the design.  One was a very large, five way combinable space that could accommodate large gatherings in a conference center environment. The other a tiered training room that could be used for client presentations and staff training.

The Solutions

SMW and Tritech worked closely with the client throughout the construction process.  Engineering drawings were thoroughly reviewed, and systems “tweaked” as needed.  The project management team coordinated deliveries and activities with other trades to insure safe and efficient practices during the height of COVID restrictions.  The client was present for various stages of extensive system testing in Tritech’s fabrication and testing facility and again systems were tweaked to accommodate any last minute changes.  The divisible conference center features (5) individual rooms that can operate independently with full presentation and conferencing capabilities.  The rooms can be combined in a variety of configurations, including fully open, operating as one very large space.  A boardroom is included that features presentation, video and audio conferencing capabilities.  Multiple smaller conference rooms were provided, each Zoom enabled.  The Learning Center features a dual projection system that allow remote participants to join meetings as presenters or audience members. All the spaces can be controlled locally or by technical staff in the master control room.
