The Client

Renowned for executing large-scale infrastructure projects, this American company specializes in engineering, construction, and project management. Its portfolio includes transportation systems, energy facilities, and iconic landmarks worldwide. With a legacy spanning over a century, the Company shapes skylines and supports development in over 150 countries.

The Challenge

Designing the Company’s new Washington, DC office presented several challenges for the TRITECH design team. A large, flexible gathering space was needed that could be used as individual meeting rooms as well as one large space.  Working closely with the architectural teams, the intricate ceiling systems had to be designed to incorporate microphones and speakers seamlessly, ensuring clear audio in all setups. Video camera tracking in large, noisy rooms posed difficulties in maintaining accurate focus and sound quality. The high-end finishes of the space were essential for creating an impressive environment for presentations to potential clients from all over the world. Additionally, all systems needed to be user-friendly and capable of quickly adapting to different uses, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all users.

The Solutions

Based on the designs created by TRITECH, the Owner and the rest of the design teams, TRITECH provided a variety of spaces, each with their own distinct usage cases but flexible enough to accommodate last minute requirements.  All rooms are video enabled from integrated below display systems in the small meeting spaces, multiple camera set ups with large displays in large conference rooms to sophisticated camera tracking and switching systems with very large Direct View LED displays in the multi-purpose room.  Audio systems also run the gamut from small, table top mics in the smaller spaces, ceiling mounted microphone systems in larger conference rooms to portable, delegate type microphone/speaker systems in the multi-purpose rooms. TRITECH provided many demo products and worked very closely with the company’s AV team on the design of the systems.
