The Challenge
TRITECH was awarded the contract for the AV systems in this high profile project, located a few blocks from a highly secure facility, through a competitive bid process. Faced with a tight two-month turnaround time, TRITECH had to work in unfinished spaces, necessitating multiple visits and careful protection of completed work. Testing was conducted in a chaotic environment, requiring repeated visits for both testing and closeout procedures. The Client required several various sized meeting spaces, including a large, centrally located one that could accommodate the company’s All Hands meetings as well as the many social functions held in the space. Additionally, the project took place in an historic building located in a very busy area of Washington, DC, which added complexity to logistics and access.
The Solutions
The boardroom is equipped with dual LG 98” displays that deliver sharp, high-contrast images of remote participants and locally generated content. Multiple cameras capture views of individual and group meeting participants, enabling seamless communication with far-end locations worldwide. The ceiling microphone system ensures unobtrusive audio pickup throughout the space. Technology and room environment control are managed through TRITECH’s custom-written software. Additional conference rooms are also equipped with LG 98” and smaller displays, providing versatile meeting solutions. TRITECH provided a high brightness ceiling mounted projector for the central meeting space with an accompanying sound reinforcement system. A digital signage system distributes useful local and international information via multiple LG displays strategically placed throughout the space. These integrated solutions enhance the overall meeting experience, ensuring clear visuals, effective communication, and efficient room management. The combination of advanced technology and thoughtful design creates a highly functional and collaborative environment for all participants.
The Outcome
The construction team demonstrated exceptional teamwork, effectively coordinating critical activities under challenging conditions. The project was completed on time and under budget, with only a minimal punch list. The successful project turnover received positive feedback from the client, consultant, and other trades, highlighting the team's outstanding performance.
