This position is for a Low voltage Parts Coordinator to join our team in NYC. Primary duties of the position include but are not limited to assisting all personnel, stage / prepare tools and other equipment parts for projects to be delivered and picked up to numerous sites. Locating and or ordering parts for specific projects.  Coordinating a schedule with drivers for daily deliveries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized stock room
  • Keep an accurate inventory list of all equipment and parts that are in stock. Track all incoming and outgoing equipment
  • Handle all parts, tool and supply requests that may come in from other team members and coordinate deliveries to sites where needed
  • Receive and log in equipment that is delivered to the office and notify the correct personnel that equipment has arrived
  • Receive and log in any un-used parts returned to the office from offsite locations. Updating inventory as necessary
  • Working with equipment vendors to replenish tools out of stock and/or have tools repaired that need to be serviced
  • Gathering all tools and equipment needed per job and delivering fully stocked Gang Boxes and or Cages to sites
  • Loading and Unloading trucks
  • Performs related duties as required
  • Occasional local deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized
  • Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allows the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations.
  • Valid ID (Driver’s license, Passport etc.)

 Compensation:
This is a non-exempt position paid at a rate between $18 and $25 per hour commensurate with experience.  Included is a comprehensive benefits package consisting of  dental, medical, paid time off, short & long term disability, paid family leave, commuter benefits and a 401k plan with a discretionary employee match.
