TRITECH Completes Data Center for NSLIJ Health SystemGARDEN CITY, NY – TRITECH Communications recently completed a major structured cabling project to furnish, install, terminate, label, test and certify a complete system for North Shore LIJ Health Systems primary 20,000 square foot datacenter. In addition, TRITECH integrated and installed dcTrack, a data center infrastructure management solution that provides powerful and intelligent tools for automation. dcTrack enables clients to plan for datacenter expansion and modifications by optimizing operation capabilities, assets and infrastructure. dcTrack can maintain accurate views across your entire data center, including servers, blades, virtual servers, applications, data networks, IP addressing space and cabling. It also provides real-time views of power consumption and heat dissipation, raised floor space and rack elevations. The network infrastructure solution included 150 Chatsworth cabinets and both backbone and horizontal cabling systems involving multiple manufacturers including Belden, Ortronics, Corning and Cabofil. The horizontal solution included 350,000 ft of four pair distribution cable while the backbone solution included Single Mode and Multi-mode fiber. The solution also incorporated 600 ft of ceiling mounted and 400 feet of floor mounted Cablofil raceway.
